Job summary

Getnet Platforms in Madrid is seeking an IT Service Management Analyst to join our Product & Software Development team. You will safeguard production changes, assess risks, and ensure changes align with standards while minimizing operational risk.

Responsibilities include reviewing change requests, validating deployment plans, coordinating with Technology, Security and Architecture, and participating in CABs to drive compliant, reliable deployments.

Qualifications

• ITIL processes knowledge, especially Change, Release, Incident and Problem management.
• Understanding of architectures including applications, infra, cloud, databases, middleware and messaging.
• SDLC and deployment processes knowledge.
• Experience with Release Manager, ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Review change and deployment requests before approval with complete information.
• Assess operational risk and validate execution windows and business impact.
• Verify implementation and rollback plans, testing evidence, approvals and comms plans.
• Validate security and vulnerability controls are applied to apps.
• Identify conflicts between concurrent changes to protect production and stability.
• Coordinate with Technology, Security, Architecture and Business teams for dependencies.
• Participate in CABs and contribute to informed risk-based decisions.
• Ensure compliance with Change Management policies and controls.

We are looking for an IT Service Management Analyst to join our Product & Software Development team in Madrid. The role will focus on ensuring that production changes and deployments are executed safely, in a controlled manner and in line with established standards, minimising operational risk while protecting service stability.

• Review change and deployment requests before approval, ensuring that all required information and documentation are complete.
• Assess the operational risk of each change and validate execution windows and potential business impact.
• Verify implementation and rollback plans, testing evidence, required approvals and communication plans where applicable.
• Validate that applications have successfully completed the required security and vulnerability controls.
• Identify potential conflicts between concurrent changes to protect production environments and service stability.
• Coordinate with Technology, Security, Architecture and Business teams to manage dependencies and support safe deployment decisions.
• Participate in Change Advisory Boards (CABs), contributing to informed, risk-based change decisions.
• Ensure compliance with established Change Management policies, procedures and controls.

What we’re looking for

Professional Experience

• Experience in IT Operations, Change Management, Release Management or related areas. (Required)
• Experience with IT service management processes , preferably within an ITIL-based environment. (Required)
• Experience using change management and ticketing tools. (Required)
• Familiarity with vulnerability management, technology security and operational risk management processes. (Preferred)

Education

• University degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related technical field.
• Alternatively, an Advanced Vocational Training qualification (CFGS) in Information Technology, Systems, Networks or Application Development, combined with relevant experience in IT Operations, Change Management or Service Management. (Required)

• Knowledge of ITIL processes , particularly Change Management, Release Management, Incident Management and Problem Management. (Required)
• Understanding of technology architectures , including applications, infrastructure, cloud, databases, middleware and messaging. (Required)
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software deployment processes. (Required)
• Familiarity with change management and ticketing tools such as Release Manager, ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy or equivalent platforms. (Required)
