Job summary

The Social Hub is seeking an IT Service Desk Intern to be the friendly first point of contact for our HQ and hotel staff. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and system issues, log tickets, and support stock management as you learn in a dynamic, international setting.

This 5–6 month internship starts February 2027 at our Amsterdam HQ. You will join a cheerful team, gain real-world IT experience, and grow your technical know-how while contributing to a fast-paced hospitality environment

Qualifications

• Studying MBO Computer Science or related field.
• Some experience in Help Desk or IT support is a plus.
• Cheerful, resourceful, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly 1st line IT support for HQ and hotel staff.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system issues.
• Log, track, and follow up on support tickets.
• Manage IT stock control, updating CMDB & Shipping devices to new users.
• Assist with system setups, updates, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with the team to solve problems efficiently.

Ready to be the friendly tech hero everyone at HQ and our hotels relies on? As our IT Service Desk Intern, you'll be the first point of contact for any tech hiccups, helping our staff get back on track when systems or equipment act up. You'll dive into tickets, troubleshoot issues, and learn the ins and outs of IT support in a vibrant, international environment. Along the way, you'll pick up new skills, tackle real challenges, and grow your tech know-how. The team is supportive, cheerful, and always up for a laugh, so you'll fit right in. You will join the team at our headquarters in Amsterdam for a period of 5-6 months, starting February 2027.

What You'll Do

What You'll Have

• You're studying MBO Computer Science or a related field
• Some experience in Help Desk or IT support is a plus
• You're cheerful, resourceful, and detail-oriented
• You can think analytically and solve problems on the fly
• You enjoy working in a team and communicating clearly
• English is a must; local language is a nice bonus
• A great sense of humour and willingness to learn
• Must live in Amsterdam or Barcelona
