Job summary

The Social Hub Madrid is seeking an enthusiastic university student for an internship in hospitality. You’ll craft coffee, serve local dishes, and assist bar operations while learning in a vibrant, international setting.

You should be studying in the EU, have some F&B experience, and be fluent in English and Spanish. We value energy, independence, and a hands-on attitude, with on-the-job coaching and a monthly internship stipend.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at a university and eligible for internships.
• Previous food & beverage experience is advantageous.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; other languages welcome.

Responsibilities

• Serve coffee, prepare beverages, and assist bar operations.
• Prepare and present local dishes across cafe, restaurant, and rooftop.
• Create a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere for guests and locals.
• Keep dining and bar areas clean and organized for each shift.
• Collaborate with kitchen and floor staff to ensure smooth service.

What You’ll Do

• Serve a fantastic variety of local dishes and menu favorites across our cafe, restaurant, and rooftop.
• Brew excellent specialty coffee as a barista and mix signature cocktails behind the bar.
• Share your passion for our food and drink menu, helping guests discover their new favorite dishes.
• Create a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere where hotel guests and locals love to hang out.
• Keep all dining and bar areas clean, organized, and perfectly set up for the next shift.
• Team up with the kitchen and floor staff to keep food and drinks flowing smoothly during peak hours.

Who You Are

• You’re currently enrolled in a University;
• Currently studying a relevant bachelor’s in Hospitality, Sales, Advertising, Marketing, or Business;
• You have previous F&B experience;
• Enjoy receiving and taking responsibility and you can work independently;
• You have a flexible, hands‑on, motivated and positive approach;
• You’re an octopus that loves to get your dexterity skills into action;
• You love responsibility and handle stressful peak periods like a pro;
• Fluent in English and Spanish– Know any other languages? The more the merrier!
• Hard working, responsible and a “let’s do this!” mentality;
• You must be studying within the EU.
