BMAT Music Innovators in Barcelona seeks a versatile engineer to support the maintenance and evolution of our Recording platform. Based in Barcelona, you will help run the global server network and contribute to a real time music monitoring project (Vericast).

You will work with Linux, scripting, Python and FFmpeg, learn quickly, collaborate with a young team, and help automate tasks. The role offers flexible hours and the Barcelona HQ office.

Formación

• Comfortable working in a Linux environment and scripting languages.
• Instinct for listening, asking, understanding and communicating.
• Team player with curiosity and problem solving mindset.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn, efficient at solving problems.

Responsabilidades

• Help maintain a network of 200+ servers in 50+ countries around the world.
• Help configure servers to capture Audio / Video / TV / Radio signals.
• Assist with installing and maintaining servers in data centers.
• Work with encoding/transcoding of Audio and Video signals.
• Communicate with hosting providers, customers, and other teams.
• Help troubleshoot and find solutions to recording and infrastructure issues.
• Support the team in automating repetitive tasks and improving processes.
