Join a dynamic and innovative industrial technologies company as a Networking Engineer in a part‑time capacity (~4 hours per day). You will work remotely (or hybrid) to support and manage our global network infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance, and security across multiple sites. This role offers the flexibility of part‑time hours while making a significant impact on our connectivity and operations.

Language Requirements: English (fluent); additional language skills a plus

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy and manage network architecture across global sites (LAN/WAN, MPLS, SD‑WAN, VPNs).
  • Monitor network performance and availability, proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Implement network security measures (firewalls, IDS/IPS, segmentation, access controls).
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to support network changes, expansions and migrations.
  • Maintain network documentation: diagrams, configurations, inventories and run‑books.
  • Participate in network incident response and post‑incident analysis.
  • Support network equipment provisioning (routers, switches, wireless, firewalls) and vendor coordination.
  • Provide periodic network health reports, improvement recommendations and capacity planning.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in enterprise network engineering.
  • Proven expertise in LAN/WAN technologies, routing, switching, VPN, SD‑WAN.
  • Strong knowledge of firewall technologies, network security best‑practices and segmentation.
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., SNMP, NetFlow, SIEM).
  • Solid understanding of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS) and troubleshooting at scale.
  • Ability to work independently in a part‑time role while coordinating with full‑time stakeholders.
  • Excellent documentation skills and ability to communicate technical information clearly to non‑tech stakeholders.
  • English language fluency.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments (OT/IT convergence).
  • Knowledge of cloud‑networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid connectivity.
  • Wireless networking expertise (WiFi6, WPA3, RF planning).
  • Certification(s): CCNP/CCIE, Palo Alto, Fortinet, SD‑WAN vendor certifications.
