A financial services firm is seeking an experienced IT Murex Consultant to support their client in the financial environment. This role requires at least 10 years of experience with Murex systems, focusing on design and implementation of Murex modules. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills. This position is remote, offering flexibility to work offsite.

Formación

• Minimum 10 years’ experience with Murex systems in banking or financial institutions.
• Proven experience in Back Office implementation (4+ years).
• Proven experience in Reporting implementation (5+ years).
• Proven experience in Interfaces (5+ years).

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain Murex modules for testing and reporting.
• Support business teams during requirements gathering and testing activities.
• Coordinate across teams to ensure successful deployment of Murex functionalities.

Conocimientos

Extensive knowledge of the Murex financial system

Strong understanding of Fixed Income, Money Markets, Interest Rate Swaps, and FX derivatives

Ability to collaborate with Back Office and Risk teams

Proficiency in dynamic tables and trade lifecycle

Excellent communication skills in English

We are seeking an experienced IT Murex Consultant

to join our team supporting our client in the Financial environment in Luxembourg. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining Murex modules, supporting business requirements, and ensuring seamless implementation of functionalities across systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain MX Test, Back Office, Interfaces, and Reporting Murex modules.
• Support business teams during requirements gathering and testing activities.
• Lead end-to-end processes from design and build through testing and promotion to production.
• Coordinate across teams to ensure successful deployment of Murex functionalities.

Deliverables include:

• Gather, document, and review requirements for Back Office, interfaces, and reporting projects.
• Prepare and validate design documents with business stakeholders.
• Develop test cases for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support UAT phases.
• Build and configure Murex Back Office, interfaces, and reporting modules.
• Execute non-regression tests on MX Test and contribute to sign-off processes for go-live.

Required Skills and Experience

Functional Expertise:

• Extensive knowledge of the Murex financial system.
• Strong understanding of Fixed Income, Money Markets, Interest Rate Swaps, Cross Currency Swaps, and FX derivatives.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Back Office, Middle Office, and Risk teams.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience with Murex systems in banking or financial institutions.
• Proven experience in:
  • Back Office implementation (4+ years)
  • Reporting implementation (5+ years)
  • Interfaces (5+ years)
  • MX Test non-regression testing (4+ years)

Technical Skills:

• Advanced configuration expertise in:
  • Back Office module
  • Reporting
  • Onyx/MX Test implementation
• Proficiency in dynamic tables, trade lifecycle, simulation views, trade queries, P&L, market value, risk figures, one-stop processing, and DataMart reporting.

Soft Skills:

• University degree in finance, economics, business administration, or equivalent.
• High integrity, reliability, and independence.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work confidently under deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written).
• Ability to build strong relationships across all organisational levels.
