PPG está buscando un IT Manager para liderar la visión y arquitectura de nuestra cartera de aplicaciones en la nube, impulsando DevOps, CI/CD y prácticas de automatización. Liderarás un equipo global de DevOps y colaborarás con ingeniería de plataformas, producto y stakeholders para entregar soluciones escalables y seguras.

El rol requiere experiencia en DevOps, Azure DevOps, Docker/Kubernetes, y capacidad para impulsar mejoras continuas en entrega y operación de software a nivel corporativo.

Formación

• Licenciatura en informática, tecnología de la información o campo relacionado, o experiencia equivalente.
• Al menos 4 años de experiencia como desarrollador y/o DevOps.
• Al menos 2 años liderando equipos DevOps, estableciendo roadmaps, procesos Agile y desarrollo de carrera.
• Experiencia sólida en herramientas DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Git y Azure DevOps.
• Fuerte experiencia en creación y mantenimiento de CI/CD con Azure Pipelines.
• Experiencia impulsando cambios organizativos relacionados con DevOps.
• Conocimiento de monitoreo y registro (App Insights, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experiencia en metodologías de desarrollo Agile y Waterfall.
• Experiencia demostrada en liderazgo y gestión de proyectos.
• Habilidades interpersonales para colaborar con equipos directivos y técnicos.
• Excelentes habilidades de comunicación escrita y verbal.
• Gran atención al detalle.

Responsabilidades

• Liderar un equipo global de quince ingenieros DevOps distribuidos geográficamente.
• Establecer y mantener prácticas para automatización de infraestructura, CI/CD, monitoreo y gestión de lanzamientos.
• Implementar una Community of Practices (CoP) para difundir buenas prácticas DevOps.
• Impulsar iniciativas de automatización: aprovisionamiento, notas de versión, gestión de configuración y despliegues.
• Implementar métricas DevOps y asegurar cumplimiento de objetivos.
• Desarrollar estrategias para reducir el backlog técnico.
• Asegurar que guías DevOps estén actualizadas con tendencias y tecnologías.
• Proponer e impulsar soluciones para optimizar entrega de software.
• Participar en el reclutamiento de personal de soporte IT.
• Garantizar cumplimiento normativo, políticas de seguridad y SOX; planificar cobertura de personal.
• Organizar y comunicar de forma clara ideas y procedimientos a la dirección.
• Mantener un enfoque de servicio al cliente y resolver problemas con rapidez.

As IT Manager, you will lead the vision and architecture for the deployment, automation, and management of our cloud application portfolio of applications. You will play a key role in shaping how we deliver scalable, reliable, and modern solutions, driving innovation while ensuring operational excellence across all environments. In this role, you will partner closely with platform engineering teams, infrastructure architects, product owners, and key stakeholders to design and continuously enhance efficient CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices. You will establish clear direction, priorities, and governance to enable high-performing teams and consistent delivery outcomes. You will also lead and develop the DevOps team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. By setting clear objectives and aligning team efforts with organizational goals, you will drive delivery excellence, improve operational efficiency, and ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes across the application lifecycle. In this leadership role, your impact will extend beyond technology, you will shape the team culture, elevate performance standards, and drive meaningful business outcomes.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead a global team of fifteen DevOps engineers distributed over different geographies towards the success of different and implement the DevOps and DevSecOps strategies, aligning it with the company's goals and objectives.
• Establish and maintain best practices for infrastructure automation, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), monitoring, and release management.
• Implement a Community of Practices (CoP), evangelizing the best practices in different DevOps topics, such as deployment methods, branching strategies, etc.
• Drive automation initiatives to streamline operational tasks, including infrastructure provisioning, release notes, configuration management, and deployment processes.
• Implement and ensure DevOps metrics are met.
• Implement strategy to reduce technical backlog.
• Ensure DevOps guidelines are up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
• Proactively propose and implement innovative solutions to optimize software delivery and deployment.
• Participate in recruitment of IT support personnel.

• Confer with reporting manager on complex or unusual 100% adherence to all company policies and procedures (i.e., Security, Health, Safety, and Quality). Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to data and proprietary information, whether internal to PPG or customer-specific.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure with changing priorities and deadlines. Understand and embrace the business and IT strategic direction. Understand business processes and business tools in the current environment. Project management as required.
• Organize 24 / 7 support with the team.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of three plus (4+) years of experience as a Developer and/or DevOps engineer.
• Minimum of two plus (2+) years leading DevOps teams including setting roadmaps, running agile processes, performance management, conflict resolution, and career development.
• Strong experience and proficiency with DevOps tooling - containers, scripting, source control, and workflows using Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Git, Azure DevOps.
• Strong experience and proficiency creating, enhancing, and maintaining CI/CD processes and tools in Azure Pipelines.
• Experience driving change across organizations as it pertains to the culture of DevOps.
• Strong understanding of monitoring and logging management (e.g., App Insights, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Strong experience in software development methodologies including Agile, Waterfall.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Project management experience.
• Interpersonal skills in working with the management and technical teams in a “self-starter” role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to the detail.
