To support the continued growth and scalability of our business, particularly in the US region, it is imperative to address the current gaps in our IT support structure. This proposal outlines the business case for hiring a Junior IT Infrastructure Engineer in Boston, US.
The primary objectives of this role include providing on-call support during EU late night hours, addressing IT and audio-visual issues at all US hubs, and assisting with infrastructure projects. This addition is expected to significantly enhance the user experience for our US operations and enable seamless 24-hour support coverage. So, we need to fix the holes in our IT support system to keep growing and scaling our business, especially in the USA.
To support the above, we’ve reached out to many key stakeholders around the business and importantly in the US who helped us identify a role style fit and also a best location to go with this from. With Chicago likely seeing a support person joining for now at least, having someone (IRL) in the larger Boston site would equal that whilst that person would go and help regularly in Chicago too.

Compensation for this role is a combination of salary and stock options. The anticipated base salary range is $80,000-100,000 per year. Actual compensation may vary based on specific qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors.
