Ayesa Digital in Spain is seeking an IT Business Analyst – Data Architecture & Data Modelling to drive data architecture design and analytics across European EU projects. The role focuses on data modelling, governance, and collaboration with data teams to support complex business processes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data analysis and strong SQL, with experience in enterprise data warehouses and BI environments. A hybrid project role with international teams awaits.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of postsecondary professional experience and at least 3 years of higher education (degree or equivalent).
• At least 3 years as a Business Analyst in IT or digital environments.
• Strong requirements gathering, gap analysis, and functional specification experience.
• Hands-on enterprise data modelling including conceptual, logical, physical models.
• Proficiency with SQL and data analysis; experience with data warehouses and analytics platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements aligned with needs and feasibility.
• Conduct gap analysis to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Define functional specifications translating business needs to technical requirements.
• Perform data analysis and contribute to data modelling activities for decision support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams through the solution lifecycle.
• Support design of business processes and workflows using modelling techniques.
• Create diagrams and models using UML, BPMN or similar.
• Contribute to standardisation and improvement of BA practices.
• Ensure traceability of requirements and support validation and testing.
