Job summary

Nordex Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead for wind projects. You will ensure compliance with the quality plan, lead the local team, and provide on-site QA training during turbine installation.

Ideal candidates have an engineering background, strong English, and prior wind industry QA experience. The role requires travel for long stays abroad and a proactive, organized, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Engineering or similar degree.
• Intermediate level computer skills.
• Good communication, organized, team player, with initiative and reliability.
• High level of English.
• Wind industry and quality experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel for long stays abroad.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the quality plan for the corresponding project.
• Lead the local team, organising tasks and taking responsibility for quality assurance.
• Provide quality training to the team during the project.
• Coordinate and execute all QA activities during turbine installation: receipt of materials, acceptance of foundations, supervision of critical operations, final inspection of machines.
• Conduct wind farm start-up audit and coordinate audits of the contractor's installation process.
• Management of non-conformities and missing materials at the wind farm.
• Contact with the customer at the wind farm for quality issues.

Your Profile

• Education: Engineering or similar
• Complementary Training: intermediate level computer skills
• Profile: Person with communication skills, organised, who knows how to work in a team, self-reliant, with initiative, proactive, sociable, observant and committed
• Languages: High level of English
• Valuable previous experience on Wind Industry and Quality
• Availability to travel: long stays abroad
