Alcon seeks an International Medical Education Trainee to support coordination and execution of international education initiatives for healthcare professionals. You will work with colleagues across countries, regions, and functions to contribute to programs related to regional enablement, KOL development, congress strategy, and education pathways.

The role offers hands-on experience in international project coordination, digital communications, and business operations within a global eye care

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Academic background in healthcare, medical devices, life sciences, communications, or related field is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational and project coordination skills.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple countries, regions, and functions.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate international Medical Education programs, projects, meetings, and recurring team activities.
• Support KOL management, congress activities, and education pathways.
• Prepare newsletters, presentations, program updates, and other digital content.
• Coordinate timelines, deliverables, meetings, and follow-ups with stakeholders across markets.
• Support adoption of digital platforms and ensure consistent cross-market communication.
• Manage operational activities such as purchase orders, invoices, suppliers, and logistics.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and identify process improvement opportunities.

Are you ready to join us?As an International Medical Education Trainee, you will support the coordination and execution of international education initiatives for healthcare professionals. Working with colleagues across countries, regions, and functions, you will contribute to programs related to regional enablement, Key Opinion Leader (KOL) development, congress strategy, and integrated education pathways.This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international project coordination, digital communications, and business operations within a global eye care organization. Previous ophthalmology experience is not required.
