FTI Consulting is seeking a Cybersecurity Intern to join our Madrid team. The role launches a 6-month, full-time internship starting between January and March 2027, with a 40-hour weekly schedule.
You will work on cyber incident response, evidence handling, data preservation, and collaboration with global clients. The program emphasizes training, mentorship, and exposure to forensics within a dynamic firm.
FTI Consulting is the leading global expert firm for organizations facing crisis and transformation. We work with many of the world's top multinational corporations, law firms, banks and private equity firms on their most important issues to deliver impact that makes a difference. From resolving disputes, navigating crises, managing risk and optimizing performance, our teams respond rapidly to dynamic and complex situations.
At FTI Consulting, you'll work side-by-side with leaders who have shaped history, helping solve the biggest challenges making headlines today. From day one, you'll be an integral part of a focused team where you can make a real impact. You'll be surrounded by an open, collaborative culture that embraces diversity, recognition, professional development and, most importantly, you.
Are you ready to make your impact?
As part of our Cybersecurity Team, you will combat cybercrime and protect the corporate values and reputation of national and international clients from cyberattacks, supporting their security with optimal long-term solutions and strategies.
As a relatively new team within FTI Consulting, our spirit is fundamentally entrepreneurial-we thrive on initiative and encourage team members at all levels to take charge of and drive aspects of our development. We work hard to foster a culture of inclusion and respect based on team-oriented thinking and honest, open communication.
This is a full-time, 6-month internship in our office in Madrid, starting between January and March 2027.
Your main responsibilities include:
Assisting with regulatory compliance projects, including assessing the level of compliance of organisations with cyber regulations, as well as cyber transformation and maturity projects.
Keeping abreast of regulatory developments in cybersecurity and analysing new and existing regulations to understand their requirements on Spanish organizations.
Contributing to written reports and updates for law firms, financial institutions, and multinational corporations regarding cyber threats and trends, and the creation of proposals and pitches for clients.
Supporting the delivery of marketing activities run by the team.
Developing and maintaining a solid understanding of industry-critical trends, threats, methods, and technologies.
We invest in you and support your professional development. To this end, we have developed a range of programs to promote leadership skills, as well as growth and development opportunities. We encourage continuous learning and individual skill development through on-the-job training, self-directed professional development courses, and certifications. You will receive your own coach who will support you as a mentor and guide you through regular coaching sessions. This coach will act as a promoter of your professional development. This internship will provide you with an insight into the world of forensics.
