FTI Consulting Spain, S.L.U. is offering a six-month full-time internship in Madrid within its Cybersecurity Team. You will work on cyber incident responses, forensics support, and regulatory projects to protect clients' assets and reputation.
The role emphasizes learning through coaching, hands-on experience in incident handling, data preservation, and preparing client reports, with Spanish and English proficiency required.

As part of our Cybersecurity Team, you will combat cybercrime and protect the corporate values and reputation of national and international clients from cyberattacks, supporting their security with optimal long‑term solutions and strategies. As a relatively new team within FTI Consulting, our spirit is fundamentally entrepreneurial—we thrive on initiative and encourage team members at all levels to take charge of and drive aspects of our development. This is a full-time, 6‑month internship in our office in Madrid, starting between January and March 2027.
Your main responsibilities include: Supporting the response to cyber incidents and forensic investigations, assisting the wider team with the foundational elements of:
Assisting with regulatory compliance projects, including assessing the level of compliance of organisations with cyber regulations, as well as cyber transformation and maturity projects.
Keeping abreast of regulatory developments in cybersecurity and analysing new and existing regulations to understand their requirements on Spanish organizations.
Contributing to written reports and updates for law firms, financial institutions, and multinational corporations regarding cyber threats and trends, and the creation of proposals and pitches for clients.
Supporting the delivery of marketing activities run by the team.
Developing and maintaining a solid understanding of industry‑critical trends, threats, methods, and technologies.
