Job summary

FTI Consulting in Madrid is offering a full-time 6-month internship in our Cybersecurity Team. You will combat cybercrime and protect client values while gaining hands-on experience across incident response, forensics and regulatory projects.

The role focuses on supporting cyber incident response, data preservation, evidence handling, and preparing reports for law firms and financial institutions. Fluent Spanish and strong English are preferred; graduation after January 2024 required; 40 hours

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and strong English language skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support cyber incident response and forensic investigations, assisting the wider team with the foundational elements of: Cyber incident management; Evidence Identification & Seizure; Data Preservation, Imaging & Analysis; Chain of Custody Maintenance; Malware & Artifact Analysis.
• Assist with regulatory compliance projects, including assessing the level of compliance of organisations with cyber regulations, and cyber transformation and maturity projects.
• Contribute to written reports and updates for law firms, financial institutions, and multinational corporations regarding cyber threats and trends, and the creation of proposals and pitches for clients.
• Support the delivery of marketing activities run by the team.
• Develop and maintain a solid understanding of industry-critical trends, threats, methods, and technologies.
