Compass Lexecon Spain, S.L.U. invites junior economists to join our Competition Practice as interns. You will work with senior staff to relate client issues to economic theory and support the analysis with empirical evidence.

Interns typically join for 3–6 months during or after completing economics degrees. We value highly analytical minds, strong organisation, and teamwork, with fluency in English and desirable Spanish. Applications close February 26, 2027.

About the role:

We pride ourselves on providing Interns with an opportunity to make a significant impact from day one. As an Intern you will gain extensive hands‑on experience of working at an economic consultancy. You will contribute to cases in a variety of ways, working closely with senior staff to understand the issues that face the client, relating those issues to relevant economic theory, and supporting the analysis with solid and persuasive empirical evidence. Interns typically join us for 3‑6 months during, in‑between, or shortly after completing their economics degree(s). For those applying whilst completing their Bachelor's degree, please note that our Intern candidates are usually hired in their final year. We would consider only exceptional second‑year students. Interview process:

Our interview process for Interns includes one 60-minute interview with both motivational and technical questions. All interviews are currently being conducted virtually.
