Interim Senior Accountant role in Madrid with hybrid working arrangement is an urgent assignment to support an international organisation during a period of transition. The role covers month-end close, Spanish and US GAAP reporting, VAT, fixed assets, intercompany, AP/AR and cash, along with SOX controls and audit support.

You will work closely with FP&A and supervise an Assistant Accountant. Ideal candidates will have strong international accounting experience, proficiency in Excel and ERP

Formación

• Strong accounting experience within an international environment.
• Knowledge of Spanish GAAP and US GAAP.
• Experience within a SOX-controlled environment.
• Strong Excel and ERP systems experience.
• Spanish language skills are highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Month-end close and reporting across multiple Spanish entities/properties.
• Balance sheet ownership, VAT, fixed assets, intercompany, AP/AR and cash.
• SOX controls, statutory compliance and audit support.
• Working closely with FP&A to explain actuals and key movements.
• Supporting an Assistant Accountant and providing continuity across the finance function.
