The ideal candidate will have a Legal Bachelor’s Degree and over 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Spanish and high-level English is mandatory. Responsibilities

Reporting to a Head of Legal Spain, you will be responsible for advising in legal aspects of the Spanish portfolio of shopping centres of the Company, for which you will be the main point of contact for centre directors, shopping centre management teams, operations team, Westfield Rise team, etc., you will be part of the day‑to‑day life in a Shopping Centre by, among others, advising to shopping centre management teams on the legal aspects of contracts with service providers, marketing or promotional activities related to campaigns carried out by the Shopping Centre, as well as any advice for specific situations that have taken place, being proactive in proposing appropriate legal solutions.

Advising internal clients within the URW teams on the legal aspects related to common areas commercialization and service to be provided by Westfield Rise team linked to the catalogue of services offered.

Managing, in close collaboration with lawyers, data protection matters, and IP rights and brand management, including among others review and implementation of policies in place as well as detecting risk on these matters associated with the business is being carried out.

Participating in cross‑functional projects related to the Group's objectives.

Assisting and collaborating in legal issues that the Head of Legal or Legal Director may delegate and provide them with fluent and proactive reporting on matters.

Qualifications and Experience

With a Legal Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) from a top‑tier University, you have significant experience on advising same kind of contracts of at least 5 years, acquired in a similar company or a top law firm.

  • You have a good command of technical aspects (particularly in Co‑ownership laws, commercial contracts in general and in particular: service provider contracts, marketing contracts, lease contracts and contract law. Data protection and / or IP rights would be preferable and highly valued), enabling you to analyze and handle the files entrusted to you with technical expertise, perspective, and agility.
  • Dynamic and positive, you are recognised for your team spirit, analytical and synthesis skills, attention to detail, as well as your strong writing skills and organisational qualities.
  • You are capable of handling files in project mode with a business and operational approach focused on results.
  • Spanish and high‑level English is a must.
