Santévet Group in Barcelona is seeking a Legal Counsel to join the Finance Department and work under the Head of Legal on a permanent, full-time basis.

The role will monitor national, European, and occasionally international regulations, and provide timely guidance to operational teams and partners.

We offer 2–3 days of home office per week and a Monday–Friday schedule; travel to our headquarters in Lyon is expected about four times per year.

Formación

• Master degree in Law, insurance specialization is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years as Legal Counsel or Lawyer in Contract/Insurance Law.
• Experience in an international context.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (mandatory). French is a plus.

• Drafting legal information notes and recommendations for operational teams to ensure compliance or anticipate regulatory changes.
• Drafting operational documents: responses to tenders, General Terms and Conditions.

Your role:

Within the Finance Department, you will join the Legal team under the supervision of the Head of Legal.

Your role will be to ensure continuous legal monitoring of the company’s activities by tracking changes in national, European, and occasionally international regulations, as well as relevant case law.

Your responsibilities:

• Drafting contracts for clients and/or suppliers, as well as the company’s private partners.

• Drafting legal information notes and recommendations for operational teams in order to ensure the company’s compliance with applicable legislation or to anticipate regulatory changes.

• Drafting operational documents: responses to tenders, General Terms and Conditions.

• Developing processes to ensure compliance across our activities.

• Ensuring legal monitoring related to compliance and insurance.

To successfully accomplish these tasks :

• You have ; a Master Degree in Law (specialized in insurance is a plus)

• 3 years minimum of experience as Legal Counsel or Lawyer in Contract/Insurance Law

• Experience in an international context

• You are fluent in Spanish and English (mandatory). French is a plus.
