Job summary

Set Europa is seeking an experienced Insurance Business Analyst to join a major core system transformation project for the Benelux market. You will bridge business needs and technical solutions, ensuring seamless integration across systems and effective requirements delivery.

You will analyse processes, gather requirements, perform fit/gap analyses, and collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to design end-to-end solutions while maintaining strong documentation and English

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry.
• Experience in core system transformation or modernization projects.
• Broad understanding of insurance processes across functions.
• Experience gathering requirements and producing functional/technical documentation.
• Ability to understand complex system architectures and collaborate with technical teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business processes and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Conduct fit/gap assessments and identify system dependencies, integration points, risks and challenges.
• Perform end-to-end analysis across multiple systems, including payments, accounting, input/output management and data flows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, developers and delivery teams to define and validate solutions.
• Prepare and maintain BRDs, process flows, epics, functional specifications and solution descriptions.
• Participate in implementation, integration testing, UAT and go-live activities.
• Coordinate across multiple teams to ensure successful project delivery.
