Job summary

ABB is hiring a Field Service Engineer to execute service work with instrumentation and analytics products across Spain. You will deliver quality customer service planning, ensure material readiness, and communicate service timelines effectively to retain customers.

The role involves traveling around Spain, collaborating with customers on-site, and training field service teams as needed. Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or similar, or vocational training such as FPII in a technical field.
• At least 2 years of experience in industrial environments doing similar work.
• Willingness to travel around Spain and valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge in Microsoft office pack.
• Mindset to innovate, be accountable, improve processes and collaborate.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through on-site activity in service categories and products for which they are certified to perform.
• Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points.
• Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities.
• Acting as trainer when needed, for field service associates and customers.
