A leading solar technology provider in Andalucía is looking for a Service Technician to provide commissioning, maintenance, and repair of Large Scale products. This role involves providing remote support to customers, collaborating with internal teams, and conducting training on SMA products. A degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering and relevant experience of at least 3 years are essential. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Formación

  • Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or similar.
  • Knowledge of Industrial Communications (Modbus, RS485, etc.).
  • Knowledge of solar technology and electrical grid management.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

  • Provide remote support to customers and service providers.
  • Collaborate with service and sales colleagues.
  • Perform second-level on-site services for commissioning and maintenance.
  • Maintain personal spare part stock and tools.
  • Deliver training to customers on SMA Large Scale products.
  • Conduct detailed error and event analysis.
  • Escalate technical issues to R&D as required.

Role Objective

The Service Technician Large Scale (living in South of Spain) is responsible for performing commissioning, maintenance, and repair of customer equipment. The role provides remote support to customers and service providers to resolve technical issues, establishes and maintains proper business relationships, and carries out necessary administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide remote support to customers and service providers via the service line and Online Service Center, with expert knowledge of SMA Large Scale products and services.
  • Collaborate internally with service and sales colleagues to ensure smooth operation and support.
  • Perform second-level on-site services for commissioning, maintenance, or repair of SMA Large Scale products.
  • Maintain and control personal spare part stock, company car, and tools.
  • Deliver training to customers on basic operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of SMA Large Scale products.
  • Conduct second-level detailed error and event analysis, acting as a SMA Senior Expert.
  • Properly escalate technical issues to R&D when required.
Requirements

    • Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or similar.
    • Knowledge of Industrial Communications (Modbus, RS485, etc.).
    • Knowledge of solar technology and electrical grid management.
    • Relevant work experience in a similar role.
