Saybolt España S.A. seeks an Inspector I to perform basic inspection work at petroleum, petrochemical, gas, grain, oils and fats terminals and refineries in Cadiz, Spain.

You will assist other inspectors and account managers while ensuring safety, quality and cost efficiency, with potential offshore deployment as needed. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of inspection experience, and strong English and local language skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist other inspectors and Account Managers in responsibilities at the location.
• Work to ensure efficient operations to meet client needs on time.
• Inspect at port activities and sometimes offshore on high seas as requested by the company.
• Cooperate with department managers and follow all Saybolt/Core Laboratories procedures.
• Maintain safety, quality of service and asset maintenance within the working day.

SUMMARYThe Inspector I performs basic inspection work in petroleum, petrochemical, gas, grain, oils and fats terminals and refineries; also performs inspection work on board barges and ships following industry standards and the procedures published by API, Fosfa, Gafta and Saybolt.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESThe Inspector I shall assist other inspectors from the department and Account Managers in responsibility duties of the location.Inspectors I, are responsible for the efficient work within the location, so that can meet client needs accurately and in time.Inspectors I, may work at different locations and on offshore operations as requested by the company.The functions to be developed by the Inspectors, are mainly included within the port activity and sometimes offshore on high seas, so that the development and fulfillment of the functions of the description of each Job, including the specific service of standby, constitute a function of the job and are carried out within the ordinary working day, as long as they are carried out as effective working time.Is responsible for and takes care of running the operation at the lowest possible costs, while meeting the requirements for safety, quality of service and maintenance of assets. Inspector I must ensure full cooperation with his department and his Managers on all assignments.Must follow all company procedures as established by Saybolt and Core Laboratories, including but not limited to HSE Manual, Accounting Policies & Procedures, Saybolt Administration Instruction Letter, IT procedures, Ethics Policy, Saybolt Compliance Code, etc. Must keep himself updated and aware of all updates and act accordingly. Inspectors I, reports directly to Inspection Account Managers.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Capable to perform any kind of Inspection vessel and shore with a supervision of a higher level Inspector or Account Manager.OTHER INFORMATIONCertificates, licenses and registrations:Inspectors must have a vehicle in good, safe operating condition that can be used on the job for both personal and sample transportation in all ambient weather conditions.
