To strengthen our growing Iberia team, we are seeking a Planning Engineer / Technical Planner with strong analytical skills, engineering mindset, and passion for renewable energy systems.
Your Responsibilities
- Planning and design of biogas plants (new constructions and retrofits)
- Plan, design, and optimize biogas and biomethane plants, both new installations and retrofits / revamping.
- Creating flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
- Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) in coordination with the rest of the project teams.
- Design and specification of technical components (e.g., agitators, pumps, gas systems, tanks)
- Perform technical coordination with suppliers, authorities, and internal project teams
- Support permitting and compliance processes, preparing all required technical and planning documentation.
- Technical support throughout the project from concept to commissioning
- Provide engineering support throughout the full project lifecycle, from conceptual design to commissioning and digital handover.
Your Profile
- Degree or technical training in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Systems, or Environmental Technology (or equivalent).
- Experience in planning, engineering, or execution of biogas, wastewater treatment, or other process plants is highly valued.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Solid Works) and MS Office.
- Strong technical reasoning, structured working methods, and collaborative mindset.
- Spanish and good English required, German is an advantage.
