A leading manufacturing company in Spain is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize processes for vehicle components. You will collaborate with design teams and ensure manufacturability within the production environment. The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Strong teamwork and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Formación

Tasks

• Define and optimize manufacturing processes for vehicle components and systems.
• Ensure manufacturability and integration of vehicle domains (powertrain, body, etc.) within the production environment.
• Collaborate with design and architecture teams to align product design with manufacturing capabilities.
• Support industrialization and ramp-up of new vehicle platforms.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure component quality, process capability, and compliance with manufacturing standards.
• Drive supplier development and evaluate their manufacturing processes for continuous improvement.

Knowledge

• Manufacturing processes and technologies for heavy-duty vehicle components.
• Integration of vehicle domains in production systems.
• Design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA) principles.
• Supplier quality management and process audits.

Tools

• Manufacturing process planning : Siemens Tecnomatix, Process Simulate, or similar.
• Requirements Management : Polarion, DOORS, or similar.
• Production line simulation and optimization : AnyLogic, FlexSim, or similar.
• Supplier collaboration platforms : SAP Ariba, SupplyOn, or similar.

Studies
