We are looking for a

Data Engineer

to join our team for a multinational leader in the

financial sector

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and optimize data pipelines using SQL and Databricks.
  • Implement data ingestion and transformation workflows using Spark in distributed environments.
  • Ensure data governance, lineage, and integrity across all stages of the data architecture.
  • Collaborate across Data Engineering, Risk, Technology, and Business teams to deliver integrated data solutions.
  • Contribute to the automation and modernization of manual or legacy data processes and reporting tools.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement and optimization of data infrastructure.
Skills – Essential
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in data engineering or data management, ideally within financial services or Big Data environments.
  • Strong SQL development skills (complex queries, optimization, window functions, etc.).
  • Practical experience with Databricks, Spark, or other distributed data platforms.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, normalization, and data quality best practices.
  • Degree in a STEM field (Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, etc.).
  • High level of English (minimum B2).
Skills – Desirable
  • Certifications or additional training in data platforms or cloud ecosystems.
  • Experience with Excel, VBA, and Microsoft Office Suite.
