A leading global consultancy is seeking an experienced Civil Infrastructure - Project Manager to oversee complex civil infrastructure projects in Madrid. The role involves leading design teams, ensuring quality standards, and managing project budgets. The ideal candidate should have at least 15 years of experience and preferably PMP certification. This is a full-time position with no remote work options.

Formación

• PMP certification preferred.

Overview

We are in search of a skilled and experienced Civil Infrastructure - Project Manager to lead our design team within a dynamic consultancy environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the design and management of civil infrastructure projects particularly in Rail. This role demands a professional who is adept at overseeing complex design processes coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for civil infrastructure projects from project planning to execution and closure.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, foster collaboration and ensure high-quality solutions.
• Coordinate with various EC offices for multidisciplinary and/or multicentre projects.
• Oversee design stages from concept to final delivery, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications. Monitor progress, conduct regular review meetings, identify potential risks in the design phase, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Implement and maintain high standards of design quality, ensuring compliance with AECOM’s quality principles, industry regulations, and client specifications.
• Manage design budgets, optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency, and identify opportunities for savings.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and present regular project reports to internal teams and stakeholders for informed decision‑making.
• Adapt to the AECOM Project Delivery Procedures and standards.

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience. USA and Canada experience will be an added advantage.
• Extensive experience as a PM/DM in civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in managing multidisciplinary design teams.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• PMP certification would be an added advantage.

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering / MEP
