Job summary

DXC Technology in Madrid is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design and implement on-premises and hybrid infrastructures using VMware, Azure integrations, and related technologies. You'll collaborate with international teams to drive deployment and modernization.

The role emphasizes hands-on migration, automation scripting with Python, Bash, Terraform, and Ansible, and ensuring performance, security, and regulatory compliance across complex IT estates.

Qualifications

• Real experience in VMware/Hyper-V/KVM with hands-on implementation.
• Oracle or enterprise databases infrastructure understanding.
• Scripting and automation using Python, Bash, Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience in on-premises or hybrid environments.
• Experience in large or complex corporate environments.
• Nice to have Azure or AWS cloud experience.
• Knowledge of Zerto, Commvault, Guardicore, networking, monitoring.
• Hands-on, adaptable, proactive and collaborative attitude.

• Real experience in: Hypervisors (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM) - you’ve implemented, not just theorized
• Oracle or enterprise databases - you understand database infrastructure
• Scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible) - you’ve automated real processes
• On-premises or hybrid environments - you know physical and virtual infrastructure
• Large or complex companies - you’ve worked in corporate environments
• Nice to have:
  • Azure or AWS - cloud experience
  • Zerto, Commvault, Guardicore
  • Networking (CISCO, Juniper)
  • Monitoring (Grafana, Nagios)
  • AI applied to infrastructure - optimization, intelligent automation
