DXC Technology Madrid is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer with VMware expertise to design, implement and optimize hybrid on-premises and cloud-based infrastructures. You will collaborate with international teams and drive migrations from legacy environments to modern platforms, ensuring security and regulatory compliance.

The role requires hands-on delivery, scripting automation (Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible) and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on design and implementation of VMware-based and hybrid environments.
• Experience automating with Python, Bash, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Experience in on-premises or hybrid environments and large corporate settings.
• Strong English communication with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement on-premises and hybrid infrastructures with VMware and related technologies
• Automate infrastructure processes through scripting (Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible)
• Lead migrations from legacy systems to modern platforms, driving the technical implementation
• Optimize performance, availability, security and compliance
• Deploy AI-driven solutions for service modernization and intelligent automation
• Integrate Azure into hybrid strategies
• Collaborate with international teams on design and troubleshooting
• Document architectures and create infrastructure standards
