A technology-led healthcare solutions provider is seeking an AEM Developer in Madrid. This hybrid position requires creating and authoring digital content for pharmaceutical clients, working 3 days onsite. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of AEM experience, strong digital development skills, and proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects.

Formación

You are talented professional with Digital Development skills specialising in the use of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). A senior AEM content professional both assembling and custom coding websites, is your primary focus, taking complete ownership of assigned tasks. You will work with both the Indegene local Creative team and wider Web team / AEM Lead where required.

You will be working on the implementation of content solutions to complement our team, working for our client within the pharmaceutical industry in Spain.

The AEM developer role is hands‑on, and we are looking for a team member that can collaborate effectively with other internal and external teams to get the job done. You will work closely with our client’s Business Partners, digital and production leads, brand teams and external agencies as part of an integrated cross‑functional team.

Please note that this is a hybrid role, requiring the successful candidate to be onsite at the client’s premises in Madrid for 3 days a week.

Responsible for the authoring of websites and creation of web pages in AEM as per agreed design, making responsive using CSS where required, configuring and publishing those AEM pages

Design and optimise tactics and graphics, that follow template and brand guidelines, and that exceed the agreed quality metrics as per client requirement

Work with the client’s project management team, brand stakeholders and digital teams to ensure the smooth delivery of all projects

Support, where required, with the transfer of AEM into the development and operating environment (AEM architecture and staging)

Have the ability to modify HTML, CSS and ideally JS in existing pages

Should possess minimum 3+ years of experience working in Adobe Experience Manager - assembly, coding and ideally design producing digital deliverables with exposure to omnichannel campaign delivery

Educational Background – Graduate / Post-Graduate with preferably a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related design equivalent

Experience of responsive design including for mobile, iOS and Android

Good understanding and knowledge of HTML, CSS, and ideally JS

Understanding of how design translates to code (coding expertise & tagging)

Software skills / Expertise – AEM plus Adobe Design Suite and knowledge of Adobe Target, and Figma a distinct advantage. Adobe Audience, Adobe Analytics knowledge is also beneficial

Knowledge of agile ways of working and use of management / tracking tools including JIRA

Knowledge of Classic and Touch UI, Content Fragments and Experience Fragments preferable

Experience of SEO implementation and microservices configuration for web pages plus Forms and Target Authoring in AEM is an added advantage

Solid technology background, including Microsoft Office Suite software, and familiarity with trends in delivery of electronic information

Professional level of written and spoken native language (Spanish) and Business English is mandatory

Able to work in client’s Madrid office for 3 days per week
