The SIX Group Information Security Officer in Madrid, ES shields the security posture of a leading financial markets operator. You partner with business and IT teams to translate security requirements into practical controls and solutions.

You will contribute to protecting critical infrastructure while supporting agile, remote-friendly work arrangements, with opportunities to influence governance and security awareness across technology and business domains.

Formación

• Experience in information/cyber security.
• Strong knowledge of networks, operating systems, cloud services, and secure development.
• Ability to explain complex security concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and Spanish; German is a plus.

• experience in information/cyber security
• good knowledge of technical IT (networks, operating systems, application architectures, cloud services, development standards, artificial intelligence services)
• good organizational skills and ability to explain complex things in a simple way
• comfortable and capable of handling business and IT personnel on an adequate level
• interest in financial infrastructure provided for financial services and markets
• advanced training or certification in information security (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC) is a plus
• fluent in English and Spanish (both verbal and writing), German is a plus
