A leading industrial services company in Barcelona is looking for an Industrial Services Sales Manager to develop the sales strategy in Spain. This role requires over 5 years of managerial sales experience and the ability to lead a team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in industrial services and be fluent in English. National travel is expected to be around 40% of the working time.

Konecranes Spain is looking for an Industrial Services Sales Manager for leading the sales activity IS business related in Spain.

As IS Sales Manager, he/she will be responsible for leading and managing all the sales activities and sales development, supporting the sales force, and establishing loyalty among customers in own business area to achieve designated sales targets.

He/sge is a person with solid sales experience in managerial sales positions, strong analytic skills and ability to turn Sales Funnel Data into actions. You have excellent influencing skills and passion for sales development and achieving sales results through new customer acquisition.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Develops and implements the IS business sales strategy in Spain that will improve the organization’s competitive position.
  2. Leads, directs, and controls all sales functions so activities meet the organization’s objectives. Owns the key account management responsibilities over most important clients, sells company's products and services actively.
  3. Negotiates terms of sales with clients as required. Establishes targets in areas such as product mix, sales volume, market share, or business development. Monitors organization’s performance against these goals. Ensures compliance with contractual specifications.
  4. Selects and manages relationships with external service providers ensuring agreed standards of service.
  5. Leads, directs, evaluates, coaches and develops a team of sales personnel (Sales Representatives + internal sales team). Manages the sales related activities through the CRM systems, ensuring appropriate target setting, reporting, lead identification and reporting.
  6. Ensures the sales process is managed efficiently through the CRM system. Coaches and defines the sales organization structure to achieve corporate sales objectives.
  7. Contributes to business planning to develop a sales and strategy consistent with the group’s overall objectives.
  8. Liaises with other managers cross-functionally ensuring sales strategies and activities are aligned with the overall objectives.
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
  • Must have demonstrated sales experience. Preferably from industrial service business.
  • Excellent leadership skills. Team size approx. 15-20 pax.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.
  • Good command in English.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Prior equivalent Sales experience and training will be considered in lieu of formal degree.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience, ideally in managerial sales roles in service business. Used to work in a matrix organisation. (Relevant sectors of origin include: maintenance of overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting systems; services for construction and major infrastructure companies; manufacturers and leading suppliers of industrial equipment; the logistics sector; and others.)
  • Must have experience meeting monthly minimum sales targets and CRM funnel size.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be willing to travel as required, mostly in a national level, approx. 40% of his/her working time.
  • The location: Madrid or Barcelona or Gipuzkoa.
