Job summary

Forvia is a sustainable mobility technology leader seeking an Industrial Program Engineer in Vigo, Spain. You will lead the industrialization and manufacturing efforts for new launches, coordinating cross-functional teams to meet customer milestones from phase 1 through SOP and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or similar.
• Operational experience in a production environment.
• 4 years of working experience within a production environment.
• Experience improving processes and KPIs within a plant.
• Plant launch and management experience is a plus.
• Ability to train and coach within the plant.

Responsibilities

• Meet PMS milestones on time, by coordinating and securing the work packages with cross-functional support.
• Compliance with deliveries to the customer on time.
• Lead Run at Rate exercises to achieve productivity and quality targets.
• Lead industrialization works (equipment installation, material flow systems, relocation of areas, etc.).
• Be the link between the Program and the Plant.
• Track Start Up Cost (Budget) for new launches.
• Monitor TRS/OEE curves of production lines and capacity machines vs. ramp up approved by the Customer.
• Lead standard documentation development for new launches with cross-functional support.
• Direct labor hiring and training definition and tracking.
• Coordinate with PC&L team (Logistics) for material supply.
• Identify risk and report discrepancies against BP objectives.
• Develop and implement improvement ideas.
• Support / participate in PT, MPTs, EMPTs.
• Prepare Launch Reports.
