Job description

We are looking for a professional with experience in industrial maintenance and team leadership to head the maintenance function at a multinational company with a manufacturing plant in the province of Valencia.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical management with people development and wants to help a plant operate more safely, reliably and efficiently every day.

A hands-on role with decision-making responsibility

You will combine maintenance planning with a strong presence on the shop floor, working closely with the team and day-to-day operations. You will set priorities, coordinate maintenance activities and drive improvements to prevent breakdowns and reduce downtime.

You will manage the maintenance budget and performance indicators, contribute to the introduction of new equipment and work with other departments to improve equipment and facility performance.

People leadership will be central to your role: setting clear objectives, supporting the team in solving problems and developing their technical capabilities.

How we work

We value open communication and collaboration across departments. We encourage decisions informed by technical knowledge, data and the experience of the people who work with the equipment every day.

We believe in being present on the shop floor, listening to the team’s ideas and identifying the root causes of problems to implement lasting solutions. Safety, planning and following through on commitments are part of our approach to work.

We welcome people who contribute ideas, take ownership and help improve both processes and teamwork.

Experience and requirements
  • At least five years of experience in a similar role within an industrial environment.
  • Experience leading teams and managing preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance.
  • A degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and automation systems.
  • Experience using maintenance management systems and analysing performance indicators.
  • Residence in the province of Valencia.
  • Knowledge of TPM, Lean Manufacturing and other continuous improvement methodologies, as well as a B2 level of English, would be an advantage.
What this position offers

Responsibility for the organisation and performance of the maintenance function, involvement in technical projects and the opportunity to improve equipment and facilities.

We are looking for an organised, approachable leader with sound judgement when managing priorities and making decisions. Someone who engages with day-to-day operations while maintaining a medium- and long-term focus on improvement.

Remuneration will reflect your experience and technical expertise.
