Alstom in Madrid is seeking an Industrial Engineer ALM to develop continuous improvement methodologies in Services Operations. You will apply lean manufacturing tools in projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams across industrial, production, engineering, quality, supply chain and project managers to drive data‑driven decisions.

• Academic background: University degree in Industrial Engineering or related studies.
• Knowledge of electrical systems (wiring, cabinets, onboard equipment).
• 5 years of experience in similar positions.
• Essential: Applied knowledge in Lean Manufacturing.
• English level C1.
• Desirable: SAP and CATIA/PLM tools experience.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and apply lean manufacturing tools in Services projects to improve efficiency.
• Interpret electrical schematics and validate assembly/disassembly operations.
• Prepare industrial deliverables for electrical activities.
• Standardize processes and monitor main KPIs.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations to base decisions on data.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams across industrial, production, engineering, quality, supply chain and project management.

We’re looking for an Industrial Engineer ALM to develop continuous improvement methodologies in Services Operations. You will apply lean manufacturing tools in projects executed by Services. Responsibilities

• Implement and apply lean manufacturing tools in projects executed by Services as well as the implementation of execution tools developed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance.
• Interpretation of electrical schematics and associated technical documentation.
• Definition and validation of electrical assembly/disassembly operations in modification processes.
• Preparation of industrial deliverables associated with electrical activities.
• Standardization of processes.
• Notify incidents / near misses that affect Railway Safety to its hierarchical superior and EHS managers.
• Develop continuous improvement map / standardization of maintenance exams-activities.
• Management of main KPIs.
• Improvement in the efficiency of the processes.
• Work with the production department to make decisions based on data analysis.
• You’ll work with sharp, committed teams across industrial, production, engineering, quality, supply chain and project managers — solving complex challenges that shape the future of mobility.

What you bring

• Academic background: University degree in Industrial Engineer, Mechanical, Electrical or related studies.
• Knowledge of electrical systems (wiring, cabinets, onboard equipment); experience in the railway environment is considered an asset.
• Experience: 5 years working in similar positions.
• Essential: Applied knowledge in Lean Manufacturing.
• English level of C1.
• Desirable knowledge in SAP and Management and consultation of technical data and product configuration in PLM/CAD tools such as CATIA.
