APM Terminals is seeking an Asset Digitization Assets & Industrial Connectivity Engineer to enable data flow from assets to the Ignition platform. You will define connectivity methods, develop technical docs, and drive standardized solutions across terminals with SMEs.

The role requires 5+ years in technology/operations, hands-on industrial experience, PLC programming, and strong English communication. You will work within a global team to deliver scalable, secure OT solutions in port operations.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology/operations, preferably automation or logistics.
Hands-on experience in real-time industrial environments such as port operations.
Strong understanding of port equipment, automated systems and controls.
PLC programming across multiple brands (Siemens, ABB, Yaskawa, etc.).
Experience with industrial networks, IoT, edge computing and OT security.
Proficiency in managing network infrastructure, servers and databases.
Excellent communication in English.

Responsabilités

Define and document asset digitization technical requirements for asset-to-platform connections.
Audit terminals to plan technical needs and action steps before projects.
Configure hardware to enable data flow and supervise deployment of AD solutions.
Develop hardware architecture and install or retrofit signals and sensors.
Collaborate with OEMs and suppliers, provide training and knowledge transfer.
Support FAT/SAT tests and ensure documentation is complete and up to date.
