Job summary

APM Terminals seeks an experienced Regional Network Engineer to support and modernize regional terminal networks, collaborating with global teams and stakeholders. You will ensure uptime, security, and scalable designs while aligning with Maersk standards and policies.

The role involves hands-on Cisco network work, OT network considerations, and cross-functional collaboration across regions in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Cisco environments; minimum CCNA, CCNP preferred.
• Experience supporting OT networks; Siemens Scalance knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with security technologies, including firewalls; relevant certifications preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting using Wireshark and other network diagnostic tools.
• Experience with monitoring platforms like Cisco Prime, SolarWinds, Zabbix, or similar.
• Knowledge of wireless networking (802.11, Private LTE).
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and incidents in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability, stability, and performance of regional terminal networks.
• Resolve network incidents and service requests using ServiceNow and other tools.
• Execute global network change programs with minimal disruption.
• Maintain secure network configurations per standards and policies.
• Use monitoring tools to provide visibility and proactive management.
• Troubleshoot network issues with global teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Create and maintain network topology and communication documentation.
