Job summary

BioLegend, Inc. is seeking a Field Applications Specialist for In Vivo Imaging to support preclinical imaging systems and reagents across Europe. The role blends hands-on scientific expertise with customer training, demonstrations, and application support.

You will work across Southern Europe with occasional support in other European countries, in a hybrid setup, collaborating with R&D, Product Management, and Quality teams in the U.S. The role requires travel 50–70% in Europe.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, Imaging Sciences, or related discipline.
• 2–5 years hands-on preclinical imaging experience; in academia, pharma, biotech, or CRO environments.
• Foundational understanding of optical imaging technologies (bioluminescence, fluorescence).
• Strong communication and presentation skills; able to explain complex concepts to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer training for newly installed systems and develop self-guided educational materials.
• Troubleshoot scientific and application-related issues with practical recommendations.
• Conduct instrument and software demonstrations at customer sites, conferences, and facilities.
