A renewable energy producer in Madrid is seeking a Project Developer specializing in hybrid renewable projects. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of permitting experience in renewable energy projects and a high command of English. You will support project activities and collaborate across teams to achieve project goals. This position offers a hybrid work model with flexible days, stable employment, and opportunities for growth in a multicultural environment.

Formación

• 3 - 5 years of permitting experience in renewable energy projects.
• Ability to interact with various stakeholders effectively.
• Experience in development of PV, Wind Farm, BESS projects.

Opdenergy is a growing independent renewable energy producer (IPP) with presence in Europe, United States and Latin America with more than 19 years’ experience. The company develops, builds, finances, manages and operates high quality renewable energy projects in several countries, with a portfolio of 2,6 GW (1,3 operational and + 1,3 ready to build / under construction) assets in operations and construction, whole portfolio under development sums up to over 18 GW

We are currently looking for a

Project Developer

specialized in

hybrid renewable projects

to support our development activities in Spain.

Support and follow up in project permitting activities for PV, Wind Farm, BESS greenfield projects developed internally

Development of PV, Wind Farm, BESS projects from greenfield to ready-to-build status

Follow-up of the different phases of project development

Interact with different bodies, both private or public and also with colleagues from different departments (construction, grid) to achieve project goals

Negotiate and collaborate with legal department in the closing of different agreements

Identify all permit activities necessary for projects to reach ‘ready to build’ status.

3 - 5 years of permitting in renewable energy projects experience

~ High command of English

Hybrid model with 2 flexible days a week working from home.
