A leading renewable energy firm seeks an Iberia Finance Manager to lead financial operations across Spain and Portugal. This role requires strong financial leadership, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment with global standards, as well as the ability to manage teams across accounting, tax, and treasury. Candidates should have 8+ years of experience in financial management, ideally within renewables. The position offers an agile working environment and real ownership.

Formación

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in financial management, ideally in renewables or infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across multiple geographies.
  • Strong background in financial reporting, tax, treasury and standardised group processes.

  • Oversee all financial operations across Iberia, managing teams in accounting, tax, treasury and controlling.
  • Ensure compliance with standardised group reporting frameworks and act as a liaison with Global Finance.

Your Mission

As the Iberia Finance Manager, you will lead and optimise financial operations across Spain and Portugal, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment with Exus’s global financial standards.

You will oversee multidisciplinary teams across accounting, tax, treasury and management control —driving performance, ensuring robust governance, and supporting the full financial cycle of proprietary and third‑party renewable energy assets.

This role plays a pivotal part in accelerating Exus’s growth in the region, strengthening financial integration across development, operations and asset management.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Regional Oversight
  • Oversee all financial operations across Iberia, managing teams in accounting, tax, treasury and controlling.
  • Ensure timely preparation, review and consolidation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs and dashboards to evaluate asset performance and support strategic decision‑making.
  • Provide financial leadership to guarantee the stability, accuracy and optimisation of Iberian operations.
Strategic Management & Reporting
  • Align Iberian financial strategies with corporate priorities to support Exus’s growth and portfolio diversification.
  • Deliver actionable financial insights for both proprietary and third‑party assets.
  • Ensure compliance with standardised group reporting frameworks and act as a key liaison with Global Finance.
Taxation, Treasury & Risk Monitoring
  • Oversee tax compliance and optimisation strategies in coordination with local advisers.
  • Manage treasury operations, ensuring efficient cash flow, appropriate risk mitigation and visibility across all entities.
  • Develop and implement risk management frameworks focusing on liquidity, taxation and treasury risks.
  • Coordinate with the corporate risk team to ensure consistent monitoring of KRIs across Iberia.
Accounting, Compliance & ERP Optimisation
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting aligned with IFRS, supporting the adoption of new standards.
  • Liaise with external auditors and ensure effective resolution of compliance matters.
  • Support ERP deployment (e.g., Business Central, SAP) and identify opportunities to refine financial processes and improve efficiency.
Team Leadership
  • Lead, mentor and develop the Iberian Finance teams, promoting collaboration, high standards and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate alignment between regional teams and Exus’s global financial governance model.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
  • Master’s degree or certifications such as CFA, CPA or ACCA are highly desirable.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in financial management , ideally in renewables or infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across multiple geographies.
  • Strong background in financial reporting, tax, treasury and standardised group processes.
  • Experience managing both internal and third‑party renewable assets.
Technical Skills
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (Business Central, SAP) and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong modelling and forecasting capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Power BI or Tableau.
  • Deep understanding of IFRS and tax regulations.
Languages :
  • Fluent English (C1 level).
  • Spanish at a professional level is essential.
  • Portuguese is a strong asset.
