IMAN Global Consulting in Sevilla seeks a Hydraulic Engineer to join the Proposals & Tendering Department, developing hydraulic solutions for bids and supporting execution.

You will review tender documents, prepare technical specifications, cost estimates and BoQ data, and coordinate with Process, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and I&C teams on integrated solutions for international projects.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience preparing proposals and tenders for EPC projects.
• Experience in hydraulic design for water and wastewater systems.
• Proficient with hydraulic software: EPANET, WaterGEMS, HAMMER, WANDA, Pipe Flow, Flowmaster.
• Strong English language skills and analytical abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Develop hydraulic engineering solutions for proposals and tenders.
• Review tender docs, specs and client requirements.
• Prepare optimized hydraulic designs for water and wastewater projects.
• Perform hydraulic calculations: head losses, sizing, surge analysis.
• Prepare design reports, specs, BoQ data sheets and tender deliverables.
• Prepare RFQs and evaluate supplier proposals.
• Provide technical bid evaluations and supplier selection support.
• Develop cost estimates and budgets for hydraulic discipline.
• Coordinate with Process, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and I&C teams.
• Ensure compliance with standards and project procedures.
• Support project execution activities as needed.

We are an engineering company specialized in water infrastructure and treatment projects, delivering innovative and sustainable solutions in desalination, water and wastewater treatment, pumping stations and large transmission pipelines. We support clients worldwide throughout the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) lifecycle.

We are looking for a Hydraulic Engineer to strengthen our Proposals & Tendering Department.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for international bids. As the role evolves, there will also be opportunities to participate in engineering projects during their execution phase.

Your mission

You will be responsible for developing the hydraulic engineering required to prepare competitive and technically sound proposals for water infrastructure projects.

Initially, your main focus will be supporting the Proposals Department by preparing technical solutions, engineering documentation and cost estimates for tenders. In the medium term, you will also contribute to the execution of engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop hydraulic engineering solutions for proposals and tenders.
• Review tender documentation, technical specifications and client requirements.
• Prepare and optimize hydraulic designs for water and wastewater projects.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, including head losses, pipeline sizing, pump sizing, hydraulic profiles and transient (surge) analysis.
• Prepare technical documentation such as Design Reports, Technical Specifications, Bills of Quantities (BoQ), Data Sheets and other tender deliverables.
• Prepare Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and technically evaluate supplier and subcontractor proposals.
• Prepare technical bid evaluations and support supplier selection.
• Develop cost estimates and budgets for the hydraulic discipline.
• Coordinate with Process, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and I&C engineering teams to ensure integrated technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, project specifications and company procedures.
• Support project engineering activities during execution as required.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in hydraulic engineering within the water sector.
• Strong experience preparing technical proposals and tenders for EPC or engineering projects, ideally in desalination, water or wastewater treatment projects.
• Experience in hydraulic design for:
• Water and wastewater treatment plants
• Pumping stations
• Transmission pipelines and hydraulic infrastructure
• Experience preparing technical documentation and engineering deliverables for bids.
• Knowledge of hydraulic design software such as EPANET, WaterGEMS, Bentley HAMMER, WANDA, Pipe Flow, Flowmaster or similar.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and standard engineering software.
• Professional level of English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under demanding deadlines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
