Empresa Confidencial seeks a Mechanical Construction Manager to coordinate mechanical installation for a desalination plant project with an international scope. The role involves leading on-site activities, coordinating with the technical office, and ensuring adherence to the Health & Safety Plan.

Projected candidates should have a Master's in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering and 8–15 years of relevant experience, including production/installation management and international mobility readiness.

Formación

• Degree: Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Master's preferred.
• 8–15 years in mechanical/electromechanical installation (industrial or desalination).
• Experience with upgrade/expansion phases of large facilities valued.
• Proficiency in MS Project and Primavera; strong leadership and coordination.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and implement the Construction Management Plan.
• Coordinate with Technical Office on mechanical engineering development.
• Support procurement in defining equipment specs and cost control.
• Prepare monthly progress valuations for the mechanical scope.
• Supervise manufacturing of electromechanical equipment per specs and quality.
• Oversee on-site electromechanical works per designs and Quality Plan.
• Manage resources (in-house and subcontractors) within mechanical scope.
• Review certificates, inspections, and reports per ITPs and contract.
• Participate in site meetings with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and Health & Safety on site.

We are looking for a Mechanical Construction Manager with a global perspective to coordinate the mechanical installation scope of the construction of a desalination plant in the North of Africa. This includes an expatriate assignment package in the North of Africa, including international mobility conditions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and implement the Construction Management Plan.
• Coordinate with the Technical Office on the development of engineering for the mechanical discipline.
• Support the Procurement Manager in defining technical specifications for electromechanical equipment.
• Prepare monthly progress valuations for the mechanical scope.
• Supervise the manufacturing of electromechanical equipment, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate and oversee on-site electromechanical works in line with engineering designs and the approved Quality Plan.
• Manage human, technical, and financial resources within the mechanical scope (in-house teams and subcontractors).
• Review and validate cost control and certifications related to subcontracted supplies and services.
• Ensure proper inspection and acceptance of electromechanical equipment and materials according to procurement specifications.
• Develop and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for installation activities.
• Review and approve all certificates, inspections, tests, and reports in accordance with ITPs and contractual requirements.
• Participate in site meetings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with work procedures and site instructions.
• Enforce the Health & Safety Plan on site.

Requirements:

Degree: Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (Master's degree preferred).

Experience: 8-15 years of relevant experience, with a strong background as a Production Manager in mechanical or electromechanical installation works within industrial or desalination projects.

Experience in upgrade, optimization, or expansion phases of large-scale facilities will be highly valued.

Technical skills: Proficiency in MS Project and/or Primavera.

Team management: Proven experience managing direct teams and coordinating subcontractors.

Mobility: Immediate availability for international assignments.
