Applus+ IDIADA is seeking a Test Project Engineer for automotive brakes and misuse testing in a hybrid work setting in Cataluña. The role focuses on organizing test plans, applying procedures, configuring data acquisition, and supervising brake/misuse tests with a highly international team.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years in automotive, a degree in automotive/mechanical engineering, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1 to 5 years of experience in automotive industry.
• Bachelor-level degree in automotive or mechanical engineering.
• Professional English (min B2) and good communication skills.
• Willing to work in a very international company with multicultural team.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage test plans and samples (vehicle and parts).
• Understand and apply test procedures.
• Configure instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
• Supervise brake/misuse tests.
• Conduct tests on proving ground when needed.
• Analyze data and report to final client.
• Participate in project meetings with customers.
