Job summary

Applus IDIADA, a global partner to the automotive industry, is seeking a profile to be developed as crash test engineer and test supervisor. The aim is to train you to perform either role according to workload and the crash test lab needs.

You will maintain knowledge of testing protocols, manage customer requirements, prepare test instructions, supervise tests, and document results, contributing to continuous improvement while reporting to the Testing Lead or Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Automotive Industry will be an asset.
• Good communication skills and strong relationship building skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of testing protocols, standards, regulations, and procedures.
• Understand and manage customer requirements and Test Requests.
• Prepare work instructions required for vehicle or test samples.
• Monitor test preparation activities and resolve issues.
• Supervise test execution and ensure compliance with standards and customer requirements.
• Manage and oversee all post-crash activities related to the test.
• Review, validate, and document test results and deliver reports to the customer.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, procedures, and methodologies.
• Report to the Testing Lead or Project Manager.
