Job summary

Present Connection Lithuania is seeking a Mid Engineer with a strong inclination towards Site Reliability Engineering to join the SMSA squad. You will monitor services, servers, and devices, and work on maintaining and enhancing monitoring solutions across several sub-projects for a major European client.

You will join a dedicated team of engineers and have impact on stability and efficiency of network operations, with flexible, hybrid work and a generous training budget.

Qualifications

• Solid scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell).
• Good OS knowledge, with a focus on Linux.
• Excellent networking knowledge.
• Experience with monitoring stacks (ELK, Nagios/Icinga/Cacti).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Ansible and Git.
• Experience with passive monitoring suites.
• Understanding of active monitoring tools (Selenium/Playwright).
• Result-oriented engineering mindset; able to work standalone.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor services, servers and devices for mission-critical systems.
• Maintain, enhance and implement monitoring solutions (third-party and in-house).
• Unify monitoring landscape and improve network operation efficiency.
• Work with an evolving backlog across multiple sub-projects.
