Job summary

Present Connection is seeking a Mid-Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join one of the largest European internet service providers. You will focus on log processing, analysis, and enhancement as part of the SMSEC/SMSA squads, building and improving monitoring and logging solutions in the security domain.

You will work in a hybrid setup with flexible hours, receive ongoing training, and contribute to security monitoring across a broad operator network.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python in a professional setting.
• Experience with Logstash, Filebeat, Metricbeat, Elasticsearch and Kibana.
• Solid understanding of Regular Expressions.
• Experience with Ansible.
• Good understanding of standard security frameworks.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good operating systems knowledge.
• Good knowledge of networking.
• Result-oriented engineering mindset, with the ability to work in a standalone mode.
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Nice to have: a DevSecOps mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage, enhance and implement monitoring and logging solutions within the security domain.
• Focus on log processing, analysis, and enhancement.
• Work within SMSEC (Service Monitoring Security) / SMSA (Service Monitoring, Service Assurance) squads.
