Pearson is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver backend components for digital learning products. You will work on AI-enabled features and scalable services in a hybrid setup, collaborating with cross-functional teams across Madrid or Poznań.

A strong emphasis on DevOps, Clean Code, and modern architectures is expected. The role requires autonomous work, ownership of features, and mentoring of junior engineers.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Hands-on Python development experience.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes; CI/CD practices.
• Strong English communication and collaboration in distributed teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and product/project management principles.
• Experience integrating AI/LLMs into software products.
• Ability to mentor juniors and document technical work.
