Hempel Paints Kuwait Company W.L.L. is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to support EU compliance and digital transformation initiatives across Europe.

Based in Polinyà, Spain, the role combines regulatory stewardship with data-driven optimization of regulatory processes, leveraging tools like Excel, Power BI, IUCLID, and Chemmate to drive efficiency and data quality. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate regulatory requirements into practical

Formación

• University degree in chemistry or a related field with experience using digital regulatory systems.
• Experience in regulatory affairs within chemicals, coatings, or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of EU REACH, CLP and product stewardship.
• Advanced Excel; familiarity with Power BI, Chemmate, IUCLID, SQL.
• Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance with EU chemical regulations through regulatory stewardship and data management.
• Manage regulatory data in Chemmate, IUCLID, and other platforms; develop reports and dashboards.
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical business solutions for product development and reformulation.
• Evaluate regulatory processes and identify efficiency improvements via digital tools and automation.
• Collaborate with regions to harmonize regulatory practices and support digital transformation.
