Job summary

Axalta Coating Systems is seeking a Product Stewardship & Regulatory Specialist, EMEA to join our team at our facility in Asturias, Spain. The role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance for paints, coatings, and raw materials across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, collaborating with R&D, commercial, supply chain and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

3+ years in product stewardship/regulatory affairs
Experience with SDS and label authoring
Knowledge of REACH/VOC regulations for industrial and consumer markets
Excellent English communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

Monitor regulatory environment for new legislation in areas of sale and ensure compliance with changes.
Audit compliance of existing formulations against regulations of current sales countries.
Anticipate potential future regulatory actions impacting the business.
Assess regulatory conditions of new markets prior to entry.
Monitor impact of raw material classification changes on SDS and labels.
Provide input into artwork to meet regulatory standards and justify claims.
Respond to formulation disclosure requests to authorities.
Maintain written procedures for raw material processes in PSRA.
