Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe is seeking a Microwave Instrument Engineer responsible for defining and implementing active and passive microwave instruments for Earth Observation missions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in microwave instrument development and signal processing, requiring collaboration across teams and disciplines.

Formación

• Experience in developing microwave instrument concepts like SAR, altimetry, or radiometry.
• Strong understanding of signal processing.
• Ability to work autonomously and in small teams.

Responsabilidades

• Define and assess performance of running programs involving microwave instruments.
• Support study of microwave payload aspects for instrument developments.
• Conduct system engineering from initial concepts to development phases.

Conocimientos

Electric / electronic engineering or physics degree

3 years experience in remote sensing microwave instruments development

Fluent English

Fluent Spanish

Knowledge of ESA program phases

Experience in RF measurements on flight equipment

Knowledge of space systems and RF engineering

Educación

Degree in electric / electronic engineering or physics
