GMV is seeking a Systems Engineer for the CELESTE IOP navigation programme. You will lead system engineering, define the architecture for the space, ground, and user segments, and ensure technical consistency across disciplines.

You will manage requirements, coordinate performance analyses and participate in critical reviews per ECSS standards. The role requires a strong background in space systems engineering, GNSS knowledge, and experience with system architecture and requirements management.

Formación

• Experience in systems engineering for complex space systems.
• Solid knowledge of GNSS and navigation signals.
• Experience defining system architecture (space, ground, user).
• Knowledge of ECSS standards and space project lifecycles.
• Experience in requirements management and related tools.
• Knowledge of orbital dynamics and satellite constellations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the systems engineering for the assigned programme or sub-programme.
• Define and maintain the architecture of the LEO navigation system (space, ground and users).
• Manage system requirements, including definition, breakdown, traceability and verification.
• Ensure technical consistency between segments and disciplines (payload, platform, navigation, ground, operations).
• Coordinate system performance analyses.
• Lead or contribute to technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) per ECSS standards.
• Identify and manage technical risks and design trade-offs.
• Oversee preparation of technical documentation and system models.
• Liaise with ESA and stakeholders on key technical aspects.
